Wren Woods

On a weekday morning, Wren Woods is pretty quiet. The stream burbles along, local wildlife flit about, breezes carry sweet forest scents along the hiking trails and casual footpaths both.

When kids are out of school, the woods develop factions.

This is a work in progress. Unpictured are sketchy notes of groves home to unique tree houses, trees that inspire local legend, secret spots, and a handful of wildlife choosing either to be blasé or stay out of the way.

It is also an experiment in map presentation. Wren Woods is presented simultaneously as an 8 page zine and a flat map in one sheet of paper. The directions the paths take you depend on whether you follow them page by page, or as a single visual.
